The swimming pool was a lovely refresher after a long day of travelling. The breakfast was really tasty. The scones were amazing. The outside seating created a really nice atmosphere while we ate dinner.

The place is very beautiful and the breakfast was good -The staff was lovely! a gentleman even walked us to the market so we could buy a souvenir blanket

The host Lerato, was very friendly and welcoming. Thandi gave great advise on some local attractions to visit and she is a well of information when coming to information about Lesotho as a whole... If you do stay at Bird Haven you must try the trout on their menu absolutely Devine. The e tire staff was just amazing we really enjoyed our stay.

Bird Haven is a lovely, quiet space with traditional Basotho Rondavels modernized for comfort. The staff was amazing, attentive, and sweet. The evening cooked food customized to our dietary needs and it was delicious! The breakfasts varied by day and we plentiful and very tasty. The gardens include indigenous plants and are very well kept. Combined all this makes Bird Haven the perfect place to visit in Hlotse!

Very friendly staff, everything nice and clean, very good breakfast and dinner (the lamb chops were really delicious). It's in a quiet side street with on-site parking. Uncomplicated and solution oriented communication with owner before arrival. Would love to stay there again if we ever make it back to Lesotho.

The rondevals were delightful and the guesthouse felt very homely. Thandi was an excellent host and made us feel immediately at home. We are vegetarian and the chef cooked us two delicious meals for the nights we stayed there. Would definitely recommend!

The staff has to be the best thing about this place. The hospitality from them is exceptional, they are always available to help and exceed ones expectations

The welcome was warm and the follow-up service was even better. A wonderfully comfortable bed, beautiful grounds and fantastic dinner and breakfast was served. The staff could not have been more pleasant.
